Awww, look what I just learned. Jonathan Crombie, who played Gilbert Blythe in the Anne of Green Gables movies, has died of a brain hemorrhage at the age of 48! :-( Here are two good articles about this talented and wonderful human being:
Sis was most distressed. We watched Part 1 of Anne of green Gables tonight and it looks like we'll be watching the rest of the series of movies over coming days. What shocked me was his age. Forty-eight seems young to have a fatal brain hemorrhage. Sis said she read that his sister died the same way, so it was obviously something congenital.
