  2. Wow. I had just set out from NW VT for NH for my spiritual guides peer meeting to be followed by a meeting with my spiritual director. Decided to pull off the road to clean my windshield and, since I'd be running late, called my spiritual director, who would be convening our peer meeting, so he'd know and not worry. His wife answered and told me that he fell last night and is at the medical center awaiting surgery for some crushed bones in his face! Yikes! Just sent a teddy bear to him via the medical center's gift shop. Prayers ensuing.

  3. Getting on towards a long hot streak. And approaching the two year anniversary of the Derecho, which left me without power for almost two weeks. . . .

  4. On the way to and from court in an neighboring county today I had occasion to see some corn about five feet tall, and also cotton in flower. The cotton flowers are so pretty; and I was once again reminded of the pretty green color of the cotton plants. I don't know how to express it, but the green of cotton plants has some sort of quality in addition to the simple hue that makes them very pretty. It's not like any other crop I know.

My Earthlink e-mail server is currently on the blink--VERY unusual. I will have to take care of some e-mailing in the morning, I suppose.

    1. My email, too. In fact, it's been very bad off and on for several months. Has made me start to wonder what I might have to do if Earthllink went belly up. I've never had any other provider. But I haven't noticed recently that they care that much.
