Yes, I ran a Dean Meet-Up for a year. Don't think we actually accomplished too much. We did meet with out Republican Senator to talk about the importance of Social Security to so many.

DeleteThe Oak Park DFA Meet-up kept going until 2008. But the Obama campaign drained most of our members and we were never able to recover.
DeleteNorthside (Chicago) DFA is still going strung, though.
