  2. Thanks, Bill! I concur!

I love living in Vermont where you can trust your state Reps to actually represent you. A bill in Congress, which I have been cheering on for years, has a real hope of passing soon; and it has once again been supported by the Vermont State Legislature, in the form of a Resolution which easily passed both House and Senate. In fact, it passed on March 18th, long before I thought it would!

H.R. 485, The National Nurse Act of 2013, would make the role of the Chief Nurse Officer more visible to the average American, highlight the vital role of nurses, and put the emphasis in healthcare on Prevention. Go Nurses!

  3. And as you may know, the National Nurse Initiative began with Dean blogger Teri Mills! She is still very active in the effort and I salute her sticktoitiveness! She deserves a Howardly!
