Well, after all escaped any significant rain, so blessedly, no flooding at all. The car has a new battery (the old one wouldn't recharge), and a new serpentine belt. I'm good to travel.
Yayyy, puddle!! That's great news! Hey, I learned today that your neighbour never received the candles I mailed to her weeks ago! :-( Fortunately I can recreate them in less than a day.
Been sick today with a gut ailment. Hurrah for plain yogurt and the day off.
Temp down to 45F Tomorrow is predicted to be the coldest May Day in 75 years.
Got a couple more steps accomplished for my trip to the British Isles this summer: Reservation for my first night's hotel, before the tour starts, and completed the "invoice" form for the tour. I'd already paid in full, so there was no balance due, but there was some information they wanted. Only things left are to reserve a day trip or two for our free days in Dublin, get an international cell phone, and check out what's involved in using my mobile hot spot there.
