  2. I can't believe you're all missing this thread!

Jo*in*Vermont called just at 6pm to let me know that Howard was being interviewed momentarily on WCAX (local channel)! I watched.

Howard said he wouldn't rule out a run but also said that the media has all but made this up. He said he would not run against Hilary. So I guess we'll see. We really do need his voice in the conversation. At very least, if Hilary runs, PBS ought to have him do a weekly show where he interviews people and really brings the issues to the fore!

    1. I saw a report this morning about an interview in which Howard said he might run if the other candidates weren't addressing the issues. That report didn't mention Hilary. I intended to mention the report here but got busy with other things.

Thing is, of course, that we have no clue who else might be running two years from now. Or what the issues of the day will be.

    3. Thanks, Bill!

It's good to hear the word is getting out.

It will be interesting to see what Howard has to say on Sunday at the Reunion.
I'll report in as I am able! :-)

  3. I voted for Howard Dean once before, and I would do it again. Hilary Clinton? Didn't before, and won't.

On another topic: This sounds like the Stasi, not the United States. [Click]

    1. Interesting article. But the basic facts were familiar because I get the FAS (Federation of American Scientists) Secrecy Report.

    2. I voted for Howard once before (although race was all but officially over) and would again. I didn't vote for Hillary before and might or might not if she ran again. The main reason I preferred Obama in 2008, aside from favorite son status, was that I thought he could work with Republicans. But it takes two to work together, and a few months were enough to show it wasn't going to happen.
