Overlook

  1. Looking over Dean for America--Ahhhhh....

Glad you found someone good to help with your "joint" problems, listener. Gold is where you find it.

Been busy, but that sure beats some of the alternatives.

Weight has plateaued for a bit, but may be on the way down again. Down about 25 pounds from my max, now planning to go down 18 pounds more. It sure has reduced the stress on my knees, and interestingly enough I seem to have far more vigor than usual. Nice.

When I excavated my desk I got down to my desk pad, and the blotter paper was very much worn out, so I tossed it. Now it seems that is too old fashioned for most stores to carry. Will check a non-chain store next.

    1. Alan, I'm glad the reducing is going well, and even more glad (gladder?) you're seeing practical results. That must be very encouraging!

I used to have a blotter, which seems to have migrated onto Mum's desk. Yes, I imagine blotting paper might be hard to come by nowadays. Good luck in your search. Let us know if you find any.

    1. BRRR!

Not looking forward to the heat of Summer, but I too want warmth! Is it because I'm getting older, or do Winters seem longer than they used to? At least it's sunny here, which is some help.

  3. Here's a snippet I just had to share:

" Besides being the name for 23 (XXIII) popes, it was half of the last two popes' names: John Paul. (Will the next pope be George Ringo?) Like James, John was in the Top Ten every decade of the last century except for the 1990's (#14 then)."

Pope George Ringo! I'm sure that must be disrespectful or sacrilegious or something, but it sure is funny!

  4. Spring cleaning is 85% done. 15% more to do today before our guest arrives. I think the worst is behind me.
    Hope, hope!

  6. Been dealing with a runny nose for a couple of days; terrified it'll turn into a six/eight week bugger like last fall. Been treating it today with 2,000 mg Vitamin C every couple of hours. Seems to be working.

  7. Got ALL the Spring Cleaning DONE!! And our guest arrived fine. Jovana is a delight. We're having a lot of fun. And in the course of my Spring cleaning I found a copy of the Blog Family Cookbook already gift wrapped, for her! Awesome!

I also found a dinosaur sock puppet I don't recall ever seeing before. LOL!
