Hitting the sack soon Glad your friend is doing OK, considering, listener--and fingers crossed for Ally.

Jobs have been getting delayed, so not all piling up this week. Very good.

This past weekend was my last forty-hour shift. Henceforth a mere 32 hours [grin]. Should be much easier.

But notice that, except of Texas, most of the red doesn't amount to many electoral votes. None of the other red states have as many electoral votes as Illinois and only two have more than Massachusetts.--

That's what Mum said too, Bill. There's a lot of area, but not many electoral votes.

I was looking particularly at Texas. I can't get used to seeing the home of Ann Richards, Barbara Jordan and Molly Ivans red. Silly perhaps, but there it is..

  3. Temps were supposed to reach 80 today, but looks like they only hit 75. That means our last 80-deg day was Sept. 12. It's rare to have an 80-deg day this late, but just as rare not to have one after Sept. 12.

My coworker hasn't heard about her biopsy yet, but should hear tomorrow. Tenterhooks!

The east coast needs to watch Hurricane Sandy closely. There's talk of her landing, as a strong Tropical Storm, at Boston or Cape Cod, or Maine. She could hit NJ even, or go out to sea. Stay tuned!

    1. They said on tonight's news that Sandy is now a cat 1 hurricane. An English friend of mine is visiting NJ. I'd hate for him to get caught in a hurricane!
