    2. Can't thank you enough for this link. I'll post it on Facebook yet, so folks can see it. I had a NDE when I was in a coma at age 2.5 yrs, and it did indeed change my view, life and perspective. I am tired of people saying it was just an hallucination or brain problem! This really underscores that I was right. So grateful.

  5. Kitten Update:
Just saw Mizzen and Spinnaker. Mizzen is still congested and Spinnaker is too a little. But if Spinakker didn't hack-cough a wee bit now and then you'd never know she was sick. Her energy is excellent. Mizzen hangs back and observes, which is her personality, but she also has a lot more chest congestion. When I left they were play-attacking each other. So that's encouraging. Allegedly the bacteria is now toast, but it takes a week longer to get the fluid to abate.

On another note, they have now taken in a black and white boy kitten, who is about 6 weeks old. He was playing with the others, and I inquired if that's safe for the boy kitty. They said he'll get socialised and if he gets sick they already have med for him too. Hmmm.

  6. For Son's college game design class, he had to write a proposal for a video game concept, and then get feedback from people. Demetrius has done his part, and a couple other people have responded. I feel pretty much functionally retarded in this area. I don't *play* video games, and therefore I don't know how to "speak the language". I know this is a long shot, but if anyone here can wrap their mind around reading the description of a video game, and replying with a comment or two, please let me know. Thanks.

    1. Heck, I'm useless: I don't even *get* non-video games. . . .

  7. I believe I way over did it yesterday. I don't do knees on the floor, so the shimming, replacing trying and nailing and renailing was all done from pretty much of a crouching position. The muscles that really *hated* it and retaliated were the big ones in the backs of the thighs. So I've pretty much just been quiet today. Tonight, going for the morphine, and see if I can't get them a bit relaxed. . . .

Back from DucKon. They had me on seven panels, all of which were surprisingly well attended and went well. And again I sat at the bid table, but didn't get to talk to as many people as last week. That was partly due to the layout of the hotel, with the fan table and the con suite (food and socializing) a good quarter mile from where the panels were. Pretty much everybody is happy the con will not be going back to that hotel next year.

  9. RENEE...

I've never used a video game, but my godson Louis is a genius at it. He gets a new video game, tries it out, then contacts the folks who made it with very specific feedback. Email the proposal over to me, and I'll forward it along to Louis and see if he has a few minutes to comment.
