  2. Thank-you so much, puddle for the "fix"!

That is the photo I fully intended for today, because today is Son's birthday who does the Root Center! :-)

  4. Tonight I made a super deluxe cheesecake from scratch. I'll decorate it in the morning, then we're going to meet three of our sons for lunch. One had a birthday on Monday. Another has a birthday today. And the other is their older brother and the only other Vermont sibling. We're going out to eat at American Flatbread, and we're bringing the dessert! :-D

  5. Sheriff Chuck alert! I've had esophageal problems for many years. In recent years, they've been escalating. Seems to have turned exponential this late summer/fall. I seem to have some kind of nearly full blockage at this point. I had a doctor's apt. Friday for fuller investigation, but it looks like I'm not going to make it that long. My neighbor Nancy is taking me over to ER this afternoon. I'll get back to ya'll when I can (likely several days). Love ya'll and prayers appreciated.

  10. I'm in San Diego. Got up earlier than usual, had a nap on the plane from Los Angeles, then another here in the hotel (I haven't been getting as much sleep as I should.) In kind of a 1960-ish Holiday Inn on the waterfront, right across from the Maritime Museum, the cruise ship terminal, and a bit up the street from the USS Midway museum. Twelfth floor, good view of the bay, a bit of traffic noise. Nice weather. Haven't been able to make contact with the Navy prosecutor who summoned me, but I know where the courthouse is and what to do when I get there. What I don't know--and this has been different at different military bases--is how to get on base. If I don't hear anything, I guess I'll show up at the gate with my subpoena and see what happens... It was easy getting onto the Marine Corps base at Camp Pendleton; at McChord AFB the duty officer at the Judge Advocate General's office had to come out to the gate in person to get me a pass. Well, we'll see how the Navy does it.

  13. I was just thinking how much Mah*Sweetie would like that view when I read on and decided he would not like the entry situation at all. Ha!

I hope you got in fine with minimal hassle!
