Having a quiet day here. A trifle humid, but not too hot.

  3. I'm feeling a bit better today, and have not gotten a fever (knock mahogany). Hubby, however has had a low-grade fever since last night. Frown He makes a better patient than I do, at least. He won't take anything for it until the fever breaks on its own (and usually toughs it out then too). I went out and rented 5 movies for him. Dishwasher's running. Gotta go on a grocery run soon. Then I can collapse if I have to. Heh.

  4. BTW, in that front page photo...see the place below the bottom fence rung where the light comes through? That's where the bear comes through.

  6. Renee, I agree that it sucks, your having to teach about adolescence. But, turn it around and think how much real life experience you bring to the subject.

Yeah, it probably would be good to check out the powerpoint notes. What are Powerpoint notes anyway. I have this archaic notion of notes as being written on paper, sometimes in different colored ink. Can't quite get my mind around notes in the form of a Powerpoint presentation.

Actually PowerPoint "presenter notes" appear on the presenter's monitor below the actual slide to be projected. They essentially tell the presenter what s/he is supposed to say to accompany the slide. How they're handled presumably depends on the relationship between the person preparing the presentation and the person presenting it. Way back when, it was sometimes my job to prepare PowerPoint presentations to be presented by the company's hired experts, and the notes were prehaps more important than the slides themselves.
