Great pics, listener. And thank you. I'd love for that to be *my* library!!

  2. Well, the flood watch/warning has been lifted, no more rain predicted, and I still have a drivable road. The culverts are partially clogged, so the going down of the water's going to be slow. But spring is here, ya hear?!!

Your photos and Phil's poems are lovely, as always.

I'm relieved to see Ally news. There are so few candles, I worried something had happened.

I miss my friends at HEP but don't know how to get in. Even when I tried the dashboard, it showed me the number of comments on each post but, when I clicked the comments link, all that came up was the box to write, not the comments themselves. Can't even see my own comments. *sigh*

There's something I'd like to show you. So, please e-mail to make sure I have your current address.

Give my love to everyone at HEP.

  5. hi, puddle. Sorry I'm not hanging out tonight. Have a wicked cold, cough and headache. Seeing Dr. in a.m. for an appointment I already had. Maybe she'll have a magic elixir of some sort. I swear this has been the worst winter for me. Normally I'm pretty resistant to illness, but that hasn't been the case this year.

  8. Ally is in NYC. I've just sent the update to puddle.
Tomorrow begins her 3f8 therapy...which is going to be painful and may cause her some breathing difficulty, hives and more.
    Prayers please. Candles: http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l=eng&gi=allys

    Thanks. ♡

  9. I sent Cat a note explaining that we no longer click on the Comments link but rather the TITLE of the current post, then SCROLL DOWN.
I hope we see her back here soon! :)

  10. I'm trying to see if I can figure out why Cat can't access the comments. So if something weird happens, that's probably why...

Is it just me, or have the comments turned upside down...in a good way. Previously the last comment was at the top and now it is at the bottom where it belongs.

  12. Well it just reversed order (so it's like the old commenting, so I like it!!)

  13. And I've been having trubble for an hour myself, so whatever you've done is good by me. . .

  14. Already had done that, lol! ♥ Me too. I miss her.

  15. Yes, the comments can be read from top to bottom again at the moment... That was a happy accident. Mind you, I *tried* to find a way to get comments in the familiar top-down chronological order before, but couldn't seem to find a control for that.

The control panel for this new system is a barrel of fun. Lately, for some strange reason, I can only log in successfully if I'm using Chrome as my browser. If I try to log in while using Firefox, I keep getting a "wrong password" message.

Anyway, when I saw Cat's comment over on Facebook about comments not showing up for her, I thought it sounded like a more severe version of what I experience. When I first click the title of a post, there are no comments, but they eventually materialize. It occurred to me that the comment software was trying to do something fancy, and that was gumming up the works. (Don't you love it when I try to do technical jargon?)

I tried playing around with a few different options, checking and un-checking various boxes. Finally, I noticed the box (checked by default) labeled "enable Echo Live". The description of that feature is: " New Echo events are inserted in real time into Echo without having the need to refresh the page." So I tried un-checking that box, and what we have at the moment seems to be the result.

Seems to me it might be a browser problem, since no comments show up when I click the post title.
Maybe I'll try Sea Monkey. *sigh*

Send my love to the gang and tell them I hope to be back soon.

  17. How strange! You're right. Once I refreshed the comments realigned chronologically. Well, how about that. Now if we can figure out what's keep Catreona out, we'll be good again. BTW, I'm using Firefox with no troubles. (Knock mahogany.)

  18. I just sent Cat a note asking her to try it now. I tried to comment over at Facebook, but *that* wouldn't work for me.

Explanation of what I did is upthread. Or maybe "previous page".

  19. Okay, now where did MY last comment go?
