The work of Christmas

I found the following poem on the blog, An Inch at a Time, and shamelessly lifted it, along with Susan's reflection on the poem, as our Advent candle reading tonight.

When the star in the sky is gone,
When the Kings and Princes are home,

The work of Christmas begins:
To find the lost

To feed the hungry
To release the prisoner
To teach the nations
To bring Christ to all
