On Monday, I had a meeting with peers on Zoom, and my new eyeglass frames arrived. (Happily they will work just fine. Eye appt is next Monday.) Then I made 5 more pairs of candles, so I'm up to 12 pair. I usually make 17-24 pair, but it's already so late in the season, and the house feels too warm. I may just make some votives and be done.
I have two guidance meetings and a webinar (seacoast marine mammals related) on Tuesday...all on Zoom. Wednesday one guidance meeting. Thursday one webinar (weather related). Somewhere in there we may be helping VT*Grand some more with house renovations. If not, I get to do some oil painting.
But nothing except the guidance meetings is truly required of me. So we'll see. Averaging 7 hours of sleep each night is beginning to feel like it's making a huge difference! F.I.N.A.L.L.Y.!!
Second day in a row my outgoing mail has not been picked up. Also the packages I was assured would be delivered today have not been delivered. I don't know what's going on. Will have to go in tomorrow and try to get some answers. Makes me angry. I know Louis DeJoy quit, but I hope he's having a miserable time wherever he is. Susan
I mailed a small gift to loved ones in NH, and weeks later it still hadn't arrived. We had no tracking on it, so that was that. I ordered another and got it sent here from Minnesota. It came and I packaged it up to send, and just as WIl was about to take it to the post office we got word that the original had arrived!! Where it was for nearly 3 weeks, I have no idear. I could have WALKED it there in less than 1/3 the time!!
Sis has been having similar problems; things she ordered not arriving for weeks, giving up and getting her money back and the item arriving the next day. This sort of thing has been going on for months, come to think of it. The Postal Service is just one of the very many things Trump has broken. It's going to take generations to rebuild this country after him, even assuming it can be rebuilt at all. I have no faith whatsoever in the Democratic Party.
I've been here most of the past few days. And yes,the term "Democratic Party is meaningless. Thrre are Democrats and Democrats. I didn't vote today because 9fthe change of residence but my preferred Congressional candidate didn't even make the top four.

Yesterday evening Jason and I went to thhe ATT office, but the email back office had closed at 6. We did, however, discover that the conversion of landline to wireless was not an ATT g;itch but the first step in the fraid campaign I suffered. The staffer should hve beeb able to access the data with my SS number but neither that nor the generic corporate number worked. Someone had changed the login SS.
