  1. We're going to see those same two grands tomorrow! Yay! Grandson has a soccer game in NH. I think this will be our 7th time driving hours to something in the past month.

  2. Trump wants to revamp the Fed. Here’s what that could mean for you.
Wapo: [E]conomists say the president’s efforts to reshape the Fed — and test his power to fire its leaders — could have far-reaching consequences for not just the U.S. economy, but also everyday Americans, in the form of higher mortgage rates, worsening inflation and economic uncertainty. The president has made it clear he’d like the Fed to drastically slash the federal funds rate — the one rate the Fed controls — in hopes of lowering borrowing costs for businesses and households. Fed officials have so far held off, saying they’re worried tariffs and other new policies could reignite inflation before it’s been fully stamped out. -- nordy

    1. He so clearly has no idea what he's doing...no concept of consequences...yet his chorus keeps praising him and urging him on. He has fixed NOTHING, he has improved NOTHING. He only knows how to destroy. Susan

  4. It appears that the Minneapolis school/church shooter is a twenty-three-year-old trans woman, who attended the school as a youngster and had made extensive plans to kill children. Her mother works at the church. It would also appear she bought the firearms legally. What can be done if firearms are purchased legally?

MAGA will be all over this as proof that trans women in particular are evil. *sigh* Of course, they never seem to think white sis males who commit mass shootings are evil.

Patel said the shooting is being treated as domestic terrorism and a hate crime against Catholics, which of course it is, but I'm mildly surprised it's being treated as such.
