The total so far is about 300,000 people, according to Boston University infectious disease mathematical modeller Dr. Brooke Nichols. Ryan Cooper of The American Prospect reported today that about 1,500 babies a day are born HIV-positive because Musk’s cuts stopped their mothers’ medication."

  2. Washington State: Warning after 250 million honeybees escape from overturned truck.

Nice to read that two dozen beekeepers showed up to assist. The bees will rehive within 48 hours. Kinda wish they’d mentioned how the driver is.

  4. Without going into excessive detail, day by day my physical condition continues to improve, although there is still quite a way to go. Medicare came through big time; for eight days in the hospital plus ten days or so of follow-on home heath care the bill was, if not trivial, still very easy to take care of.

    2. And it has been several years since we had to make any monthly payments to Kaiser (our health care provider); they have been happy with what they get from Medicare, which is held out of our Social Security.

    3. That's amazing! We find that in many instances our insurance doesn't cover the whole bill, and we have both Medicare and supplemental G with BCBS. Maybe it's just the deductible, or maybe you have the elite Part F version that took care of everything. We came in the very year they discontinued that for new enrollees.
