  2. Judge in Comey case questions Lindsey Halligan-led prosecution’s approach

U.S. District Judge Michael Nachmanoff rejected the DOJ’s request for an expedited ruling... [The Judge wrote that] the DOJ “has had the materials at issue in its possession for several years and apparently failed to seek any guidance with respect to a filter protocol at any time before October 13, 2025.” He added that the report forming the basis for the DOJ’s claim about Fitzgerald was public knowledge since its 2019 publication. “And yet, the government failed to raise any concern with lead counsel’s representation until the filing of the government’s motion to expedite on October 19, 2025,” he wrote.

  3. That lead photo is a misquotation of course. The actual words are: "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from office on Impeachment for, and conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."

  5. I got a second cardiology opinion today. Dr. Englestein wasn't as far iff as U thought. My `_heartbeat_ is normal. The abnormal atrial contractions are a separate matter and are apparently considered relatively benign. Dr. Englestein just didn't explain things. Dr. Larsen likewise agrees that my heart issues aren't causing either form of sleep apnea.

  6. I saw my sleep specialist yesterday. To my surprise, it turns out that CPAP/BPAP can help with central sleep apnea — but things are complicated. Apparently this rests on some sort of titration during a sleep study, but exactly what sort of titration depends on the results of an echocardiogram that shows the size and shape of the heart chambers. I had a normal echocardiogram a year and a half ago, but we’re going to do another in case something has changed. That is now scheduled for Tuesday.
