Organizers of the World Naked Bike Ride said Wednesday on Instagram that they’re planning to protest the Trump administration’s decision to send 200 federalized National Guard troops to Portland.
“Emergency World Naked Bike Ride coming up in response to the militarization of our city,” reads the caption of an Instagram reel posted by the event’s organizers. -- nordy
It's Yom Kippur and there was killing at a synagogue in the UK. Does there really need to be a new act of cruelty every day? What acts of kindness have you witnessed lately?
For my birthday, the kids gifted me a Sugar Maple!🍁 Today it was planted in our yard by Ethan of Horsford Gardens. I appreciate the symbolism, as the large Sugar Maples along our road are slowly falling down. This one will be far away from the road. Also, Shiloh tapped all the Sugar Maples in their neighbourhood, and at some point we will scatter some of his ashes at this tree...on the hill where he used to play as a child, and beside a fence he helped us install. 🌳
