Thanks for your note last night, W.A.! Today I am keeping an eye on the hostage release info. So good that they are home. So sad that too many didn't make it. Heartbreaking that 67,000 Palestinians died too, amid such destruction.
The heartache we've had over Shiloh's sudden death gives me a sense of the trauma and sorrow. Yet his death was simply an accident, so in a sense a "clean" death. I can't imagine the horror of deliberate cruelty being the cause. How do people come through such things?
I can't help thinking that DT and N-Yahoo worked out this deal to make DT look good as payback for USA funds.
US news outlets refuse to sign new Pentagon rules to report only official information Guardian: Several leading news organizations with access to Pentagon briefings have formally said they will not agree to a new defense department policy that requires them to pledge they will not obtain unauthorized material and restricts access to certain areas unless accompanied by an official. The policy, presented last month by the defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, has been widely criticized by media organizations asked to sign the pledge by Tuesday at 5pm or have 24 hours to turn in their press credentials. On Monday, the Washington Post joined the New York Times, CNN, the Atlantic, the Guardian and trade publication Breaking Defense in saying it would not sign on to the agreement. -- nordy
I slept well for four nights (6 to 7.5 hrs!) but only 2 hours last night. Today I saw my PCP who confirmed that I'm still having the same issue despite the med she prescribed last month. That's actually good news, in a way, because it says I may be a candidate for a procedure that might solve it at last. I'll find out on Friday when I have my ENT doc visit. Wish me luck!
