We have snow here too. Archer (German Shepherd) would really like me to come outside and play with him. Pumpkin (Olde English Bulldogge) is curled up on the couch.
We still have our cat, Maddie, who is 13 years old. She avoids the dogs, but whenever there is a chance to hang out with just us, she is ON IT. Her favorite spots are on my lap when I'm at the computer and lying between us when we sleep.
Light snoow on the ground here. The Tribune had predicted 10 inchess, but it is a lake effect snow and we're 8 miles from the lake. As I looked out the window I noticed it is not stick weather; the hedges and wildflowers still have their leaves. This freeze will probably end them although it is supposed to be up to 60 again by Saturday.
Well, we ended the day with maybe a half inch of snow on the ground. Very pretty, sparkly snow. And I'm glad I decided to drop off the Mini Cooper a day early to get its snow tires on! We'll pick up on Wednesday. At least I hope so! Ha! The pickup truck only starts sometimes, at the moment. It has the check engine light on and needs a rebuilt or new transmission. Waiting for the guy who does transmissions to return from vacation.
It's snowing! Susan
