If you’ve ever eaten out with kids, you know they can’t always make decisions about what to eat… After all, they tend to love the same things: American standards like chicken tenders and hot dogs.
But even though they may be hungry, they may say things like, “I’m not hungry” or “I don’t want that.” (Once it’s in front of them, however, they change their minds, or take two bites and are full.)
Well, an eatery in Altoona, Pennsylvania, The Deli Mansion Park, came up with the perfect solution: The most honest—and funny—kid's menu ever.
The menu came out on September 22, according to deli manager Brian Stroh.
“The parents love it,” he told The Huffington Post. He also said it was inspired by actual kids.
“That’s what I hear when kids are here ordering with their parents. I don’t know! I don’t care! I’m not hungry!”
YEP.

Noel Paul Stookey
It was very cool to be on the stage at the Opera House the day before this performance, then to sit there and hear Noel sing his famous "Wedding Song" which was sung at our wedding 42 yrs before.
We were the first into the Opera House that night and chose to sit in Row 3 on aisle left,
(seems like right in the photo) so that we could be up one step from the row in front of us
(short people need to make sure there isn't a head in the way! Ha!).

It Be Talk Like a Pirate Day! ARRRR!
As one Pirate came around a bend in the path he said, "Good Mornin'!"
I replied, "Good Morning!" Then, as he passed me, I added: "Arrrrr!"
He called out, "ARRRRRR!!!" Then he invited me to join the pirate group. LOL!
I'm still giggling over the Grammie Pirate image. :-D

Lobster Trap Run
During the Windjammer Festival there were events and games for all ages.
One favourite is the Lobster Trap Run. Contestants see how many lobster traps they can run across before falling in. The one who wins gets a $75 gift card from the local bank.
Children tend to fare better than adults due to their lower center of gravity.
They run all the way across, then all the way back, and just keep on until they fall off.
One young boy made it across 139!

The Amphitheatre!
One of my first attempts at a panoramic, using my new camera...
Picture yourself seated somewhere in that semi-circle, watching a Shakespeare play,
and as you watch the actors perform, beyond them is this view, across the little side street:
