As for the Ravens... I took these photos from atop Mount Mansfield, on the day we scattered some of Shiloh's ashes there. The Ravens were cavorting, doing somersaults, just playing wildly in the wind!
One of Shiloh’s scientist friends commented about the Ravens:
“They are one of the few non-shorebirds that show up regularly at the Alaska field site locations, so an appropriate guest for your ceremony. “I know he loved ravens, and they are absolutely one of the most spiritually connected birds of all throughout the centuries.”
I want to decorate an umbrella to carry...with lots of truths and possibly a frog motif. An umbrella makes an excellent protest sign, useful in event of rain or sun, and can easilty be seen yet doesn't take up space side to side. It is also easy to take down swiftly, should the situation permit, and can serve as a walking stick. Hopefully never needed as a defensive weapon...but it does bring back Laugh-In's Ruth Buzzi images!
