Amazon lets you add a checking account as a payment method, but then it does not let you select said checking account as the primary payment method. Apparently, only a credit or debit card is allowed to be a primary payment method. I don't happen to have a debit card for that particular checking account. So, what's the point? GRR!

You probably could. My idea was to remove the credit card from the account altogether, though. What I'll probably do is look into getting a debit card for the checking account, which would solve the problem. But, my goodness, it's not like anything can be easy!
I'm surprised to hear of drought in Vermont or anywhere in New England. WA has just missed the driest July ever and how has joined the Great Western Drought. -- nordy
The lake level on Lake Champlain is so low that people have to be extra cautious not to hit rocks and reefs just below the surface that they usually just glide over! What's more, the weeds have grown so much near the receding shore that we can't use our dinghy's trolling motor (it gets weed-tangled) and have to use our wood oars instead!

ReplyDeleteWe've had drought or near drought conditions in Massachusetts for months, including frequent heightened fire risk.
