I once worked with a nurse who had worked in Saudi Arabia for several years. In addition to dressing in loose-fitting clothing that kept direct sunlight off them, she said the Beduin had evolved to make better use of the water they had. If you tried to hydrate them like Americans, Europeans, etc. they would develop serious water overload. ----Alan
