The kids and grands have gone home, and now I can finally relate that I got a message from Susan today. She still can't post here for no discernible reason. Does anyone have idears for her on what to try?
I got a message from Susan yesterday saying: "I managed to sneak a comment in yesterday, don't know how that happened. Still getting "failed to publish" notices. Got an email today from John Pavlovitz: "I'm sickened by this country. I'm enraged by this country. I'm embarrassed by this country." That's just how I feel. This has been a horrible ten years because trump never went away. He campaigned *loudly* the whole time he was out of office. He has fostered hatred and racism so it has grown to take over the country....and it has. The MAGA cult is jumping up and down in glee and laughing their heads off over their "win". Down the road they will find out it wasn't really a win at all. But that doesn't shut them up now. I will miss my brother but I have to confess I'm glad he has escaped this nightmare. He was very politically aware and engaged and he hated trump and his entire regime almost as much as I do. Now he's where they can't do anything to him. I'm still wearing my guillotine earrings and getting compliments and asks on where to buy their own. I am quiet, but so is an immovable boulder. I'm not going anywhere and I will not comply."
