Lighthouses: Burlington, Vermont


These two lighthouses mark the breakwater at Burlington, so boats don't hit it.  They work great.  The one silhouetted at sunset used to have white siding all the way down.  When Irene struck Vermont, Lake Champlain rose so high that the siding was ruined up to the point you see it missing.  It was decided to leave it that way in tribute.
