Did you witness the Conjunction?

It was completely overcast here in Vermont.
So here is a photo of the (near) Conjunction one day before,
by Yaroslav Kourzenkov at Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia.

Tree Time!

This year our tree can have coloured lights or white lights or switch slowly between the two.
We are surprised how much we like both!
Ah, diversity.

"Donkey's Hill"

Camel’s Hump, or as it is known locally (meaning, at our house) “Donkey’s Hill”
after our 4 year old grandson recalled it as such when he last visited.

🌻🙏 Happy Thanksgiving!! 🙏🦃

The gathering may be little, but the Thanks being given needn't be.  So far we have all avoided COVID and we have a Vaccine coming. Also coming soon:  A new President, Vice President and Cabinet!

Pumpkin Pie fresh from the oven.

We can't eat three pies, so we combined two into one!

It's Baking Day!

These are the treats I made for our family this year, since we can't be together.  Brownies and Rugelach (Walnut Horns).  I made tins of these, mailed one to family in Maine and we no-contact, doorstep-delivered them to the two households in Vermont that have grands.  We have one more to take to Root*Center*Son's house tomorrow.

But first! Today is Pie Baking Day!  Since there will be just three of us on Thanksgiving Day, I am making a Pumpkin Pie and will attempt to make a half-Apple, half Cherry Pie as well.

Today is also my one and only Daughter's 44th Birthday! 💖
