Our Lady of Prompt Succor

Today the Catholic Church honors the Blessed Virgin under her title Our Lady of Prompt Succor. This is most appripos as, in my view, we could do with some prompt succor right about now. One line from the litany struck me particularly:

Our Lady of Prompt Succor against the enemies of our country, pray for us.
