  1. Happy Easter.

Alan, Chris Isaak sings a song called "Dark Moon" (see link). I think it originally came out in the '50s, possibly by somebody like Gale Storm? Will investigate further.

This is the guy Sis likes. He doesn't show me a whole lot, but to each her own.

    1. Yep, found it. I like this version a lot better. She has crisp enunciation for one thing. For another, the arrangements sounds more Western and less Country to my ear. But, as I said, to each her own.

    2. Oh, Lordy--Gale Storm! A blast out of the past...

I got my wires a little crossed in the previous comments...Dark Moon Rising was what I was thinking of, and that seems to be a poorly received werewolf movie of recent provenance.

    3. Wow, did I ever garble those links! Trying again:

The Wikipedia entry for Gale Storm [Click] is pretty amazing! Her recording career was short, but Dark Moon [Click] was a big hit for her.

Loretta Lynn version [Click] Closer to Bonnie Guitar.

Chris Isaak version [Click] Oh, an OK try for a guy. BUT BONNIE GUITAR OWNS THIS SONG, IMO!

And Bonnie Guitar [Click] is still kickin', too!

    1. Well, the Trump administration is simultaneously a failure and a provocation, no? Maybe it takes one to know one...

  4. A friend gave me a large white chocolate bunny for Easter. Haven't had one of those since I was a kid. Tastes just the same as I remember, delicious!
