Good Grief

  1. Rather forceful, and largely true, but I don't think an independent campaign is realistic at this point, if ever. Tomorrow we will will be on a long trip to court and back (about five hours' drive each way--a ten year old homicide case). The next day I will re-register as a Green. Tonight I send $15 to Bernie (later more if he has any campaign debts and/or keeps his campaign organization going) and $10 to Tim Canova. Day after tomorrow I will go back and check on the other candidates Bernie endorsed, and send each of them something.

With one third of the votes counted in California it is about 60:40 for Clinton. I see that both my native county and the one where I grew up are going for Bernie so far. For the life of me I do not understand. Well, my good wife and I are known to remark that it is strange there are so few people who are normal, like us.

    1. Forgot to sign it, but I think my fingerprints are all over it. Sent a copy to Bernie HQ.

    2. Thanks, Alan. I'm disappointed that California didn't seize the opportunity to have a real say in an election. At least this morning, with 2/3 counted, the gap is 13% rather than 20%.

  2. I got my hair cut today. And my stylist was telling me how the country need change and change means Trump. I tried to tell her the problems with Trump, but it would have been so much easier if I could have offered Bernie as a currently viable alternative.
